The Master’s Degree in DigitalExhibits is a one year course and is worth 60 ECTS credits. This Postgraduate Degree has the purpose of train professionals in a way that enables them to develop design projects of interactive multimedia environment. Architects, as well as designers, set designers, choreographer or artists will be taught to explore the creative uses of new technologies for experimental and practical purposes. Through a learning-by-doing approach, students will learn to use manufacturing and digital prototyping tools, working on art installations and museum exhibits, performance events and immersive installations, learning about 3d scanning and 3D modelling, animation, video projection mapping, interactivity and augmented reality.
The learning of the software and their practical use, the knowledge of digital technologies, taught according to the “learning by doing” method, are aimed at the construction of a set of tools that can be used in all those structures that require figures with extensive training and updated to the most advanced technologies.
Technologies and techniques
In this module, the students will have the possibility to equip themselves with a series of tools aimed at three-dimensional modelling and acquisition tools. Within the same module, a computer literacy is foreseen in preparation for the subsequent modules.
In this phase, the topics related to virtual reconstructions of objects, architectures and urban spaces will be studied in depth. In this module, the teaching will be distributed among the parallel paths according to the different characteristics of the students.
Rapid prototyping and digital fabrication
The introduction will also be accompanied by an orientation on the best practices related to Project management and Digital Curation.
Video animation and storytelling for innovative displays
A second module will be entirely dedicated to video animation aimed at creating digital content through the techniques of storytelling, video editing and set-up techniques through video projections, construction of immersive environments, design and implementation of innovative fruition devices.

Tools for interactive
The last module is dedicated to the realization of interactive exhibits with the help of different software and hardware platforms.
The basics of the Arduino electronic prototyping system and the programming environment will also be transmitted through theoretical lessons and practical laboratories.
